Deck Theme: "The All-Mother's Guidance" - Lightsworns, beings of light devoted to serving a holy cause. They are self-sacrificing, often milling cards or paying lifepoints for their effects. The goal is to prepare for the advent of Judgment Dragon or pave the way for powerful, holy Synchro Monsters. In either case, the judgment of the All-Mother will be delivered.

Ability: "Judecca's Mercy" - During either player's turn, when a card(s) is sent from your deck to your graveyard you can pay 500 lifepoints to:
(1) Add one of the cards sent to your graveyard to your hand.
(2) Target one monster you control, it cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects this turn.
Only one of these effects can be activated per turn, and only once per turn.

Bond Ability: "Luminosite Eternelle" -  While "Judgment Dragon" is in an extra monster zone, "Lightsworn" monsters you control are not destroyed by its card effect but cannot declare a direct attack during that turn. For every monster not destroyed by "Judgment Dragon"'s effect both players gain 500 lifepoints.

Personality: Lucia embodies the virtues taught by the Church. Her heart is huge and overflowing with compassion and concern for others. Rarely does she speak of her own struggles or well-being, always focused on the issues those around her face. Her face often bears a soft smile, even on her own where no doubt some kind thought or fond memory floats through her mind.

The woman is devoted to her cause and speaks often of the All-Mother, extolling her mercy and kindness to all who worship her. Though she rarely speaks in a way that could be construed as pushing people to believe in Judecca. Faith has little meaning if it is compelled. Lucia has confidence in what she believes and knows that others will come to accept it in time. They'll have to when they see God's works.

Lucia only takes to battle to protect the people. Dreamborn who attack humans are creatures to be pitied not feared or resented. And yet if they insist on violence they must be put down. She can often be seen saying a prayer over the departed, no matter who or what they were. This has inspired many in the church that she could be so caring, even for the monsters that harmed people.

When speaking with her, one will find it very difficult to offend the Holy Maiden. She understands that people come from all sorts of backgrounds with different feelings and beliefs on things. There is little need to get so worked up over a difference of opinion. Everything can be worked out in time.

Backstory: Lucia lost both her parents at a very young age. Dreamborn attacked her town and killed many before hunters arrived to contain the threat, both of her parents included. Bereaved of any family in this world, she was taken in by the Church of Virubis after one Markus Miller found her hiding after fighting off the monsters. Naturally, being taken to a church orphange led to a life of worship and aiding others. The girl never complained about her lot in life, she only sought to improve herself and establish herself in the Church. The kindness she was shown had to be repaid in some way after all.

Throughout her adolescence Lucia trained long and hard to be able to help in the protection of the people from the Dreamborn while studying the holy texts of Judecca and aiding those refugees from attacks in the meantime. From time to time Markus would visit her, offer to help train her for battle and just generally check in on her. However the man never seemed to want to get much closer than that. And Lucia couldn't find a means to press the issue herself. If it was what he wanted she would simply appreciate the times he did come to visit.

For her devotion she received power in the form of the Lightsworns, agents of god sent to bring holy justice. It was viewed as Judecca's approval of the girl, and many began to call her the Holy Maiden in response. The power she displayed on successful battles with Dreamborn and the kindness she showed to the people affected, led many to believe that she had been chosen to succeed Arcus when the tragic day that he should pass on arrived.

Lucia knew many like her who had aspirations of climbing the ranks of the church. Some fell away along the way. Their hearts were not truly in it in some cases. In others, they went away seeking other gods. A lamentable story in any case it occurred but still she pressed on. She would stand as a shining example of what it means to be a follower of the All-Mother. Her role was to show others the way as she had been shown early into her life.

A life of devoted service, what more could she possibly seek?
